Brazilian WAVE # 38 | Dec-Jan 2012
Message from the Editor
Another year comes to an end and Wave celebrates the holiday season with our readers. We bring you a guide to Brazilian restaurants and stores in Canada that promises to bring a taste of our land to those who are here. A white Christmas is made even more beautiful when we remember the joy of our land and people, and enjoy the taste of our food. When in good company, memories of tropical Brazil make Canada become more pleasant and warm.
In this issue you will meet a Brazilian Football Academy in Toronto that is “dribbling” many Canadians here - Brazilian talent scores once again! And in our portfolio, the renowned carioca musician Antonio Adolfo tells us about some of his musical history and the world premiere of his new CD, Chora, Baião.
Wave once again innovates and creates a column dedicated to young people who are living here. Whether they are high school or university students, our team wants to know their stories and experiences in Canada. The page Student Life opens with two statements and for the next issue we hope to get your stories, tips and even micos that could have been avoided, if you only knew!
We wish you a Christmas full of happiness and a prosperous New Year. See you in 2012!
Cristiana Moretzsohn
